Double Materiality Assessment
Samsung SDI conducted double materiality assessment in accordance with the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative standards 2021), EU’s CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). We identified ESG topics material to Samsung SDI based on understanding on our business context, and looked into each ESG topic for their inside-out impact - how our business operations impact social, environment, and stakeholders - and for their outside-in impact - how respective ESG topics impact the financial aspect of Samsung SDI.
