R&D of SDI

Challenge and creation, the frontier spirit.That is the R&D competitive edge leading Samsung SDI to be a Technology Driven Company.

Today, we live in the great turning point where new paradigms are created through the digital revolution.
Electronics industry, in particular, is experiencing unprecedented changes by the digital convergence revolution and the green energy which breathes fresh air into the digital world and the medium/large cells which move the industry and the households are the core of eco friendly digital world and of ever growing importance.

Keeping up with the situation, Samsung SDI established the central research center. In the research center, R&D personnel of superior caliber are putting all their efforts for development of 21st century eco friendly energy sources such as the fuel cell and the solar cell.

In addition to the domestic research centers, it is further establishing the cooperation network with the overseas research institutes in Europe, Japan, China and Russia while increasing the efficiency of the research and development through the quality renovation activities, DFSS (Design for Six Sigma).
