The basic thought of TRIZ is as below.

Samsung SDI introduced sigma 6 in 1996 first time in Korea and has constantly improved its application. We have been recognized as the criterion for the sigma 6 in Korea and handed over our know-how to many other companies. Our entire personnel make innovations in their works by carrying out the sigma 6 and our executives also perform it by themselves.

There are positive and systematic activities of activation/education/project in Samsung SDI, to settle TRIZ innovation culture to achieve performance. Currently the activities are leaded by TRIZ overall office, but it changed to direct activities leaded by each division to utilize TRIZ efficiently and to settle innovation process in whole company.
