On the basis of this new blueprint, what we are looking for is to become the total energy management solution company which can provide not only various environment friendly energy technologies and products but also the systems and the services relate to the energy. Our small rechargeable batteries are already recognized as world’s No.1 product due to their qualities and stabilities. With this foothold, we are spurring up the development of new businesses of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC), fuel cells for the distributed energy generation, lithium ion rechargeable batteries for Automobiles and e-bikes, and the large capacity storage business and so forth.

Samsung SDI has been listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the first time for a Korean company.
