The team manager was satisfied with the Monthly Report / Weekly Report, and asked team members to have a look at them for a reference (Jeon Sang Joon, MOTOROLA, April 6, 2006).

Achieving customer satisfaction, environmental consideration, and 1.2 billion won in cost saving
Environment issues are a hot topic around the world and in Europe in particular. SDIHU is thinking about environment issues with customers at customer interface.
SDIHU has undertaken a project to collect and recycle packaging materials and pallets that have used to carry products. Poland customers like SEH, HISENSE and DEMPOL were involved. As a result of the project customers were able to save efforts and cost for packaging material disposal, and Samsung SDI saved cost thanks to recycling. On top of that possibilities that the disposed packaging materials might pollute the environment were lowered. Samsung SDI caught three birds with one stone.
